There’s a foot of snow outside

But spring is coming...

Not a hint of green outside

But spring is coming...

And spring is, by definition, good.

It’s zero degrees, the north wind is blowing

But spring is coming...

Daylight hours increase by seconds

But spring is coming...

Warm winds come, then it’s cold again

But spring is coming...

Ice storm, sleet, freezing rain

But spring is coming...

And spring is, by definition, good.

Rain, floods, water everywhere

But spring is coming...

Finally, warm air, bulb shoots showing, crocuses open

Spring is here...

The world, by definition, is good.
